TM 271--Write about a time you were sick.

Um... I haven't really been sick since I was a kid. Really. No headcolds, no flus, nothing like that. I mean--I don't like to brag or anything, but I have kind of a kickass immune system. It takes a lot to make a speedster sick, and whatever it would take... I haven't had it.

Well--except that one time, but it doesn't really count, does it? I mean--it was magic. I think. It was that time that the Amazon chick that wasn't really an Amazon decided that all men had to die, and managed to create a virus that attacked anyone with a Y chromosome.

And I am definitely a man.

So, yeah, I guess I was sick. Chills, aches, and this weird thing where a lot of my veins and stuff stood out so I had blue lines all over me. And my vision was blurry and I was weak. Then there was the long period of unconsciousness. It completely sucked. And if that's what being sick is usually like, I'm glad I don't really have to deal with it all that often.

Okay, yes, it was kind of an extreme case, but still. Not en experience I'm looking forward to repeating. Ever.

Not too much. League stuff, mainly. Central City's been pretty quiet. Hey--did you know Bats left the League? What's up with that?

I couldn't move. And I couldn't patrol because it would make me queasy. I hate having to just sit around all day. Soup was good, though.

Um, I do know that, yes. As for why, well, I haven't actually talked to Batman in a while. But I have my suspicions.

Poor, poor Robbie. You're still a baby about being sick. I'm glad the soup was good, though. I guess with as much as I eat, I really ought to know how to cook.

Is this just one of those "He's Batman" things? Because that is a seriously lame answer.

Hmph. It was also an incredibly bad time to get sick. Roy's in space, Jason's on a mission, I have to take care of Lian and the city, and let's not even mention my day job. It's a damn good thing I have fast friends. ;)

...actually not exactly, but it's still not something I can talk about?

They're pretty good! I miss Roy, but at least he's mostly been in contact. And quality Lian time! Streets have been quiet. Did you scare them into behaving?

Also, yesterday was my birthday. I didn't remember until Tim reminded me. Clearly, I am getting old.

And I was very terrifying. Like Batman, only, you know. Red.
